Anton previously held national security positions in the Trump and Bush (43) administrations, as well as in the administrations of California Governor Pete Wilson and New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani. His government experience spans multiple presidential administrations and state/local levels.
His research focuses on American politics, political philosophy, conservatism, nationalism, and American political history. Anton critically examines contemporary political challenges facing the United States, with particular attention to the role of the 'ruling class' in American society and the consequences of one-party rule as exemplified by California's political trajectory.
His publications demonstrate a consistent analysis of high-stakes political moments in American history, with increasing urgency regarding the direction of the country. The works show progression from acute electoral analysis to broader philosophical considerations of American political identity.
