Michael A. Comber serves as an Adjunct Professor at Duquesne University School of Law while maintaining an active legal practice. He is a Partner at Farrell & Reisinger, LLC, specializing in government and regulatory investigations involving fraud, corruption, healthcare, cybercrime, and environmental matters. Previously, he served thirteen years as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania, including nine years as Chief of the Civil Division leading eleven attorneys.
His professional expertise centers on complex criminal and civil litigation, with deep specialization in financial fraud, healthcare fraud, corporate embezzlement, international drug trafficking, and cybercrime investigations. He has handled landmark cases including the dismantling of the GameOver Zeus botnet and the global settlement with Education Management Corp. His teaching focuses on applying real-world investigative techniques to legal education.
