Mia Morrison is a Lecturer in Instructional Technology at the University of Maine, part of the collaborative program with UMaine Farmington and the University of Southern Maine. She specializes in integrating technology to enhance learning experiences across PK12, undergraduate, and graduate levels. Her roles include teaching, coaching, and serving on the Apple Distinguished Educator international advisory board to advance global educational technology utilization.

She has received awards such as the Apple Distinguished Educator title (2013) and Piscataquis County Teacher of the Year (2015).
Mia teaches courses like EDT 400 (Integrating Technology for Teaching), EDT 520 (Digital Age Teaching Methods), and EDT 560 (21st Century Classroom Assessment). Her professional experience includes roles as Instructional Design Coordinator at the University of New England’s Digital Sciences Academy and ELA Curriculum Coordinator at Knotion.
