Mia Culbertson serves as an Assistant Professor in Design and Illustration at Temple University's Tyler School of Art & Architecture, where her research centers on diversity, equity, and representation within design education and professional practice.

- Master of Fine Arts in Graphic & Interactive Design from Tyler School of Art & Architecture, Temple University
- Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with a Minor in Art History from the University of South Florida
Culbertson's scholarly work investigates the intersection of typography, brand identity, and modern technology to foster community engagement and inclusive design methodologies.
