Mi Jung Lee

Mi Jung Lee, PhD, OT is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), School of Health Professions. Her work focuses on improving clinical decision-making through evidence-based therapeutic guidelines and their translation into practice.

• Bachelor of Science from Yonsei University
• PhD from the University of Florida

Research Interests: Health services research, rehabilitation science, patient outcome measurement, health informatics, home modification, and data visualization. Her studies explore telehealth applications, big data challenges in rehabilitation, and sensory outcome measure validation.

Publications highlight her contributions to telepresence robotics in home safety evaluations, depressive symptom risk analysis in disabled populations, and hypertension self-efficacy frameworks.

Grants: NIH/NICHD Scholar (K12 HD055929) in the Rehabilitation Research Career Development Program since 2020.
