Mette Sommer Lindsay is an Assistant Professor at the School of Social Sciences, Heriot-Watt University, specializing in Languages & Intercultural Studies.
Her research focuses on Sign Language Studies, Deaf Studies, and Intercultural Communication, particularly examining workplace dynamics related to Deaf people, employment, and visibility. She recently co-authored a chapter titled Deaf people in the workplace (2023) in the book Intercultural Issues in the Workplace: Leadership, Communication and Trust, contributing to understanding workplace inclusion and accessibility.
