Mette Sandoff is a Professor at the University of Gothenburg's School of Public Administration and currently serves as Deputy Vice-Chancellor, overseeing campus development and internationalization since 2023. She has held multiple leadership roles at the university, including Acting Pro-Vice-Chancellor for staff/student affairs and sustainable development (2021-2023), and Deputy Vice-Chancellor for education (2012-2021).

Her research focuses on leadership in higher education administration and value-based healthcare. Her work also explores teamwork challenges in public sector reorganization and disciplinary practices across educational and correctional institutions.
