Alexandra Meszaros is a Research Intern at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade. She holds a Master of Biology (2021) and a Bachelor of Biology (2020) from the same institution.
Research Focus: Molecular mechanisms of plant-microbe interactions, particularly Pseudomonas-mediated pathogen resistance and growth stimulation in crops like sugar beet and bell pepper. Her work explores:
- Type III Secretion Systems in plant defense
- Hydrogen cyanide-producing bacterial strains
- Drought resilience through microbial inoculation
- Biocontrol agent optimization protocols
