Merve Yorulmaz is a Researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research since 2019, affiliated with the Department of Policy and Society. She focuses on Gender Equality in Research and Innovation Systems, Analysis of Research and Innovation Policies, and Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI). Her work bridges academic research with policy implementation, emphasizing societal impacts and institutional frameworks.
Education:
- Master's in Management, Culture, and English Linguistics (University of Mannheim, 2018)
- Bachelor’s in Intercultural Management and Communication (Karlsruhe, 2014)

- Gender diversity in academia and its societal perceptions
- Mission-oriented innovation policies and their implementation challenges
- RRI frameworks and their institutional fragility within EU policies
