Merve Mehtap Bulut is a Research Assistant in the Painting Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design at Kastamonu University, Turkey, where she has been employed full-time since 2022. She is simultaneously pursuing her Proficiency in Art (doctoral equivalent in fine arts) at Kastamonu University's Institute of Social Sciences, Art and Design Program. Her academic journey began with undergraduate studies in Fine Arts Education at Dokuz Eylül University (2012-2016), followed by a master's degree in Art and Design at Kastamonu University (2017-2019).
Her research focuses on Painting, Interdisciplinary Art, and Photography, with particular emphasis on entropy concepts in contemporary art, patafysics in postmodern art, Deleuze philosophy applications, and feminist perspectives in the art market. Her scholarly work demonstrates a consistent exploration of how disorder, spontaneity, and philosophical frameworks shape artistic expression and interpretation.
