Merike Estna is a Visiting Associate Professor in the Department of Contemporary Art at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Estonian Academy of Arts, where she also serves as Head of Curriculum for the Master's programme in Contemporary Art (MACA). She holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree.
Her research and professional practice are centered on contemporary art, encompassing interdisciplinary approaches and critical discourse within modern artistic practices.
