Meredith Scheider

Meredith Scheider is an Associate Teaching Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University at Buffalo. She holds a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University at Buffalo. Her research focuses on Science Education and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, emphasizing pedagogical strategies in biological sciences education.
She is affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences and maintains an office in C661 Cooke Hall, Buffalo, NY.

Her research publications explore neurobiological mechanisms in Caenorhabditis elegans, including studies on gap junctions, nociception, dopamine signaling, and TRPV channel functions.
