Meredith Davenport

Meredith Davenport is an Associate Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology's College of Art and Design, School of Photographic Arts and Sciences. Her educational background includes a BFA from RIT and an MFA from Hunter College.

Her research explores photojournalism and photography, with emphases on memory studies, conflict documentation, and ancestral history. Recent articles investigate urban spaces, war narratives, and collective memory, often using interdisciplinary methodologies blending visual art and social commentary.
