Mengtian Jiang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Integrated Strategic Communication at the University of Kentucky. Her work focuses on consumer responses to branded content in digital spaces, with particular emphasis on influencer marketing, native advertising, and celebrity endorsement dynamics. She holds editorial roles at journals like the International Journal of Advertising and serves as Graduate Student Chair for the AEJMC Advertising Division.
Education: PhD and MA in Communication from Michigan State University (2018, 2013). Teaching includes courses on consumer psychology, strategic PR, and UX research. Recent grants include projects on fitness influencer effectiveness and WeChat sponsored content analysis.
Research themes span live-streaming commerce, AI-driven marketing, and brand activism.
