Melissa Varao is a faculty member at Salve Regina University, where she serves as Director of the Business and Economics Department and Chair of the Business and Economics Faculty. She holds a Ph.D. in hotel and restaurant management from Auburn University (2009), a MHRTM from the University of South Carolina (2004), and a B.S. in recreation and sport management from Indiana State University (2002).
