Dr. Melike Nur Tunalioglu is a Senior Teaching Fellow and Course Leader for the MSc International Human Resource Management at the University of Portsmouth, Faculty of Business & Law, School of Organisations, Systems and People. She holds a PhD from the University of Southampton and is actively engaged in teaching, research, and consultancy in the areas of strategy, entrepreneurship, and human resource management.
Her educational background includes a PhD in Strategy, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship from the University of Southampton, awarded with a prestigious faculty scholarship. The thesis, titled A Multi-Layered Perspective on Inclusive Academic Entrepreneurship, Diversity, and Social Inclusion: Towards Social Change, passed with no corrections.
Her research focuses on the intersection of social inclusion, diversity, and strategic management. She explores how entrepreneurship and human resource practices can drive social change and equity. Her work is interdisciplinary, policy-oriented, and aims to bridge academic rigor with real-world impact, particularly in higher education and organizational contexts.
Her recent publications examine inclusive academic entrepreneurship, the role of capital in social entrepreneurship education, and the complex interplay between corporate social responsibility and HRM. These works reflect a strong trend toward socially responsible management, equity-focused innovation, and systemic inclusion in organizational and academic ecosystems.
