Melanie Moore

Melanie Moore is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at the University of Arizona. She holds an AuD from A.T. Still University and MS/BS degrees from the University of Arizona. Her clinical experience includes 10 years in ENT settings, 9 years in private practice, and 4 years as Audiology Consultant for Arizona's Newborn Hearing Screening Program. She also taught an online hearing science course at Northern Arizona University.

Dr. Moore's research interests focus on audiological interventions for working adults with hearing impairment, advanced hearing aid technologies, and assistive listening devices. She currently mentors first- and second-year audiology graduate students in on-campus clinical settings. Her professional certifications include the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensure from the Arizona Department of Health Services.

Prior leadership roles include serving as past president and Audiology Representative of the Arizona Speech-Language-Hearing Association, with ongoing involvement in its committees. Her career bridges clinical practice, education, and state-level public health initiatives in audiology.
