Hendler pioneers strategies for textual competence in digital environments, focusing on "sourcing" techniques to evaluate information credibility amid fake news proliferation. Her research integrates cognitive linguistic frameworks with AI ethics, examining how tools like ChatGPT reshape writing pedagogy. Current projects develop AI-awareness curricula that activate prior knowledge while addressing legal boundaries and subject-specific limitations of generative AI in educational contexts.
