Melaneia Warwick is a Research Associate at the Storytelling Academy, part of Loughborough University's School of Design and Creative Arts. She holds a PhD in Participatory Arts from the University of Brighton. Her work focuses on interdisciplinary research using participatory and visual methodologies, including digital storytelling, photovoice, and wearable camera technologies.
Research interests include health, transport, waste management in East Africa, learning disability and wellbeing in the UK, and environmental sustainability. She collaborates with diverse communities such as rural nomadic pastoralists and urban settlers.

- Explores climate change, drought risk, and mental health literacy through transdisciplinary projects.
Key fellowships include Winston Churchill Fellow and Royal Society of Arts Fellow. She contributes to global initiatives like MeHelp (mental health in India) and the AIR Network for air pollution research.
