Dr. Meixi is an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota, specializing in land-based education with a focus on global Indigenous nations and communities. Her research explores land and family-based teacher education, trans-Indigenous storytelling collaborations, and Indigenous science/mathematics as tools for strengthening relational ties with natural environments. She holds a PhD from the University of Washington and has received the Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship (2020).
