Dr. Mei Li is a Lecturer in the Discipline of Media and Communication at the University of Sydney, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. She holds a PhD in International Communication from Macquarie University, alongside a BA in English and MA in International Communication.

She collaborates globally through research networks and is a member of the China Studies Centre. Her publications include a monograph on Chinese television's soft power and contributions to leading journals like Public Relations Review and Journalism.
