Mehmet Gençer

Mehmet Gençer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Organizations at Izmir University of Economics, Turkey. He holds engineering degrees from Bilkent University, Tampere Institute of Technology (Finland), and Eastern Mediterranean University (Cyprus), followed by a PhD in Management & Organizations (2009). His career spans 1994-2002 in software engineering (ERP and industrial automation) and 2002-present in academia.

• Research Interests: Innovation Management, Structural and Discourse Analysis of Organizations, Business Analytics, Socio-Economic Networks.
• Collaborations: EU-funded research, TUBITAK projects with industry partners, and mentorship of entrepreneurial ventures.

Recent Publications focus on digital transformation indices, agile practices in manufacturing, migration studies, and open source software dynamics. He contributes to bibliometric analyses and network modeling methodologies.
