Assist. Prof. Dr. Mehmet ÇATLI is a faculty member at the Faculty of Law of Ankara Social Sciences University, where he has been working since 2019. His academic journey includes positions at Inönü University (2018) and Erciyes University (2012–2018), with a focus on full-time roles. He holds a PhD in Public Law from Selçuk University (2018) and a Master’s in EU Law (2008).

Dr. Çatli’s research spans Constitutional Law, General Public Law, and Human Rights Law, with a strong emphasis on the intersection of digital law and political theory. His work explores topics like AI in constitutional frameworks, digital sovereignty, and cybersecurity policy.
His recent publications highlight trends in digital transformation, including AI-driven judicial processes, digital citizenship, and the legal implications of cryptocurrencies. These works reflect his interdisciplinary approach, merging traditional legal theory with emerging digital challenges.
Dr. Çatli has taught courses such as Public Economic Law and State-Law Relationship at PhD, Master’s, and undergraduate levels. He has also served as Deputy Dean at Ankara Social Sciences University since 2023 and previously at Inönü University (2018–2019).
He supervises thesis work in areas like cyber sovereignty, judicial digitalization, and biopolitical dimensions of children’s rights, reflecting his broad academic influence.
