Meghan Strong is Adjunct Professor of Classics at Case Western Reserve University, specializing in Egyptian and Near Eastern archaeology.
Education includes:

Her research investigates sensory experiences in antiquity, ritual performance, and ancient lighting technologies (lychnology). Current projects include a monograph on Egyptian artificial lighting (3rd-1st millennium BCE) and co-editing a volume on nocturnal experiences in ancient cities.
Fieldwork encompasses over a decade of Egyptian excavations and current assistant directorship of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition (Sudan), analyzing royal pyramids as ritual landscapes.
