Dr. Meghan Miller is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at UC Davis. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from San Diego State University (2006) and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from UC Berkeley (2013). Her research specializes in the emergence and overlap of neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly autism and ADHD. She aims to identify risk-to-disorder pathways and shared mechanisms for transdiagnostic interventions.
Her work spans early behavioral markers, developmental trajectories, and environmental risk factors. Key themes include infant predictors of ASD/ADHD, longitudinal outcomes in high-risk cohorts, and neurocognitive profiles across disorders.
Dr. Miller has received notable awards including the UC Davis Award for Excellence in Postdoctoral Research (2016), CHADD Young Scientist Research Award (2015), and APA Early Career Achievement Award (2014). Her research team investigates movement variability, screen time impacts, and prenatal exposures using advanced sensor technology and cohort studies.
