Suzanne Macari is a Senior Research Scientist in the Child Study Center at Yale School of Medicine. Her work focuses on early detection of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Education: PhD in Developmental Psychology, University of Virginia (2003); Postdoctoral Fellowships at UC Davis M.I.N.D. Institute and Yale Child Study Center.
Dr. Macari co-directs the Yale Social and Affective Neuroscience of Autism Lab. Her research explores the prodromal phases of ASD, emotional reactivity in infants, and screening innovations for high-risk populations, including premature infants.
