Megan Willows

Megan Willows is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at the State University of New York at Oswego. Her research focuses on intersectional issues in gender studies, trauma healing among marginalized youth, and gender-based violence. She is affiliated with Poucher Hall and available by appointment.

Her work bridges sociology, criminal justice, and LGBTQ+ studies, addressing topics like systemic inequalities and cross-national crime patterns. Recent publications explore trauma navigation among Black LGBTQ+ youth and gender disparities in homicide victimization.
