Megan Williams is an Associate Professor in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at Oklahoma State University, specializing in Equine Surgery and Sports Medicine. Her work bridges clinical practice and applied research across veterinary pharmacology, orthopedics, and regenerative medicine.

Her research focuses on optimizing equine surgical interventions, antimicrobial delivery systems, and innovative wound healing therapies. Grants from the OSU Foundation support her work in bone density, ligament microvasculature, and foreign body sterilization.
As an educator, she teaches advanced equine surgery courses (VCS 7793) and clinical anatomy to veterinary students. Her outreach includes membership in professional organizations like the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and American Association of Equine Practitioners.
