Professor Megan Watkins is a faculty member in the School of Education at Western Sydney University and a Research Fellow at the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS). Her research focuses on cultural pedagogies, affect, and the intersection of education with cultural diversity and migration. She holds a PhD in Humanities from the University of Western Sydney, alongside a Master of Linguistics and a BA Dip Ed from Macquarie University.
