معرفی
Dr. Megan Soon is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Immunology and Single-Cell Bioinformatics at the Frazer Institute, University of Queensland. She holds a PhD in Biomedical Research from the University of Queensland (2021), focusing on CD4+ T cell development during malaria. Her research spans immunology, malaria pathogenesis, and cancer immunology, with expertise in single-cell technologies and bioinformatics analysis. Dr. Soon’s work explores T cell differentiation, immune responses to parasitic infections, and the application of computational methods to understand cellular heterogeneity in disease contexts.
Her research interests include understanding T helper cell dynamics during malaria infection, the role of immune checkpoints in cancer therapy, and the development of standardized protocols for single-cell RNA-sequencing. She has contributed to studies on host-parasite interactions, antibody-mediated immunity, and the molecular mechanisms governing immune cell fate decisions. Dr. Soon collaborates with teams investigating translational applications of immunological research, including vaccine design and immunotherapeutic strategies.
