Megan Schliep

Dr. Megan Schliep is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. She holds a clinical appointment at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital as a speech-language pathologist. Her research focuses on post-stroke aphasia, implementation of standardized assessments, and clinical predictors of recovery. Dr. Schliep is a LeaRRn Scholar collaborating with Johns Hopkins Medicine’s PMR team on a Precision Rehabilitation initiative to develop scalable cognitive metrics for stroke recovery. Under Dr. Beth Skidmore’s mentorship, her work integrates electronic medical records (EMR) to enhance personalized rehabilitation interventions.

Her educational background includes a PhD, CCC-SLP certification, and an MPH degree.
