Esther E. Herring, MS, CCC-SLP is an Instructor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. She holds dual roles as Coordinator of the Marjorie Nicholas Aphasia Center and clinical appointment at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. Her research focuses on post-stroke aphasia recovery, health equity, and interprofessional education. Key contributions include developing the Stroke Outcomes Measures and the Behavioral Activation Treatment Program for Aphasia (BAT-RA). She teaches clinical coursework and advocates for patient-centered care through leadership roles in the National Aphasia Association and Aphasia Access.
