Megan Marshall Smith

Megan Marshall Smith is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Hamilton College. Her research focuses on plasma dynamics in accretion disks around supermassive black holes, utilizing computational modeling to study magnetic instabilities and observational implications. She holds degrees from the University of Maryland, College Park (Ph.D. and M.S. in Physics) and Miami University (B.A. and B.S. in Physics).
