Megan J. Gray, M.D., MPH is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Courtesy Associate Professor in the Department of Population Health at Dell Medical School, The University of Texas at Austin. As a general academic pediatrician and clinician researcher, she focuses on preventing intergenerational cycles of obesity and metabolic disease through socioenvironmental interventions in low-resource populations.

- Pediatrics Residency at Children's National Medical Center with community health/advocacy focus
Dr. Gray's research spans prenatal/early childhood nutrition, responsive feeding practices, infant sleep patterns, and food insecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic. She investigates parental vaccine motivations, perinatal immunity, and conducts qualitative studies with immigrant families. Her work integrates mental health system collaboration and health policy advocacy, particularly through courses on immigrant health for medical trainees.
Funded by the American Diabetes Association, she leads a community-based study evaluating parent coaching interventions for healthy infant feeding and sleep. Her research demonstrates consistent focus on early-life determinants of metabolic health and health equity in vulnerable populations.
