Dr. Megan Ehret is a Professor in the Department of Practice, Sciences, and Health Outcomes Research at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. She holds a PharmD and BS from the University of Toledo, completed a Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy residency at the Louis Stokes VAMC, and a Pharmacogenomics Fellowship at Nova Southeastern University. She earned a Master's in Clinical and Translational Research from the University of Connecticut Health Center where she also achieved tenure.

- Current roles: Behavioral Health Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, President-Elect of CPNP, and Senior Editor of Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy Review Course
Her research focuses on precision medicine applications in psychiatric care, including pharmacogenomics, long-acting medications, and optimizing treatment adherence. She actively contributes to professional organizations like the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists (CPNP), holding leadership positions and receiving numerous awards for service and research.
Professional recognition includes the Robert McCarthy Faculty Service Award (2014), NIDA Fellowship (2013), and multiple New Investigator Awards (2010, 2006). Her work bridges clinical practice and academia through correctional health initiatives and telehealth programs like Project ECHO.
