Meelee Kim is a Research Scientist II at the Institute for Behavioral Health, Heller School for Social Policy and Management, Brandeis University. With 18 years of experience in mixed-methods research and program evaluation, she focuses on policies and programs addressing substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, trauma, and behavioral health issues among marginalized populations.

Her participatory action research framework involves collaboration with community-based organizations and stakeholders. Current projects include behavioral health interventions for racially/ethnically marginalized youth, homeless individuals, LGBTQ+ communities, and families in poverty, alongside data-driven public health evaluations using Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs and law enforcement datasets.
