Mecky Pohlschröder is a Professor of Biology at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Arts & Sciences, Department of Biology. Their research focuses on prokaryotic cell surface biogenesis and function, particularly in archaea. They hold affiliations with the Cell and Molecular Biology Graduate Group and the Biochemistry & Molecular Biophysics (BMB) Graduate Group.
