Meaghan Foody

Meaghan Foody is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Iowa's Department of Speech and Hearing Science. She specializes in early literacy, language development, and aural rehabilitation across all age groups, with a focus on individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Her clinical work includes diagnostic and treatment services for pediatric and adult populations, particularly through the REACH program and the Listen and Speak Up summer program. She emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration between speech-language pathology and audiology to optimize patient outcomes following cochlear implantation and hearing aid fittings.
