Kimberly Peters is a Professor and Director of the Aural Rehabilitation Clinic at Western Washington University's Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She holds a PhD from the University of Connecticut and a BA from Trinity College. Her work bridges audiology, speech-language pathology, and education, with a focus on children who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Research focuses on social language, cognitive development, academic outcomes, and social competence in deaf/hard of hearing children. Teaches courses on pediatric hearing loss, aural rehabilitation, and resonance disorders. Supervises graduate students and provides clinical services through the Aural Rehabilitation Clinic.
Certifications include dual CCC-A/SLP credentials from ASHA and state licenses in audiology/speech pathology. Recognized as a Certified Listening Spoken Language Specialist.
