Meagan Khoury

Meagan Khoury is a Lecturer in the Department of Art & Art History at Stanford University. Her research focuses on gender in later medieval and early modern Europe, employing an anarcha-ecofeminist lens. Current work examines women’s communal living and silk embroidery production in 16th-century Italy. She co-edited the upcoming volume *Medieval Mobilities: Gendered Bodies, Spaces, and Movements* (Palgrave Macmillan, 2023).

Research Interests: Explores intersections of gender, material culture, and religious practices in medieval/early modern Europe. Key topics include hammams, purity culture, mystics, saints, and textile production. Her work critiques traditional historiographies through an ecofeminist framework.
