Md Jihad Miah

Md Jihad Miah is a Lecturer in Civil Engineering at the School of Architecture, Technology and Engineering, University of Brighton, UK. His work emphasizes the use of recycled and waste materials, natural fibers, and durability enhancement in concrete. He is particularly interested in fire-induced spalling and strengthening mechanisms of cement-based systems.

His recent publications center on sustainable concrete optimization, use of rice husk ash, and recycled clay bricks in structural applications. These works reflect a strong trend toward environmental sustainability, material efficiency, and structural performance under extreme conditions.
