Maya Mathur is a Professor of English at the University of Mary Washington, specializing in Shakespeare and early modern drama, with a focus on intersections of Shakespeare, race, and adaptation. She is affiliated with the Department of English and Linguistics and has made significant contributions to pedagogy through inclusive course design initiatives.
