Kelly Duquette Williams is a Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Literature, Media, and Communication, Georgia Institute of Technology. Her research bridges premodern studies with modern environmental and social critiques, focusing on race, ecocriticism, and the history of science. She holds a PhD in English from Emory University (2023), an MA in Irish Literature from Boston College, and a BA in English from the University of Florida.

- Queer/Crip Theories in Shakespearean Texts
- Literary Representations of Military-Industrial Complexes
Her current book project, Scorched Earths: Extraction and Ecology in Early Modern Literature, traces modern ecological crises to premodern environmental ideologies. She also explores Christopher Marlowe’s Tamburlaine through the lens of asphalt industrialization history.

Williams has published in Shakespeare, Early Modern Culture Online, and Inclusive Shakespeares. Her work integrates material science insights from Georgia Tech students into humanities research.
