Professor May Tan-Mullins is the Provost and Chief Executive Officer of the University of Reading Malaysia. A political ecologist and sustainability advocate, she has held leadership roles including Dean International, Chief Sustainability Officer, and Vice Provost of Teaching and Learning at institutions like James Cook University Singapore and the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. Her research focuses on the political ecology of rising China, environmental and energy justice, poverty alleviation, and climate change resilience for marginalized communities.
