May Khanna is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics at the University of Florida College of Medicine, where she also serves as the inaugural Assistant Dean for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. She leads a research laboratory focused on developing small molecule therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, ALS, and Batten disease. Her work integrates biochemistry, biophysics, and drug discovery, with funding from the NIH, DOD, and ForeBatten Foundation.
