Maxim Samarov is a Senior Professor of Practice and Orchestra Director at Tulane University's Department of Music, within the School of Liberal Arts. He holds a D.M.A. from Michigan State University and has taught music theory, conducting, and chamber music. Previously, he held faculty positions at St. Cloud State University and Luther College.
