Prof. Max Schaub is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Hamburg and a WZB Fellow at the Berlin Social Science Research Center. His research focuses on violence, migration, health, and their societal impacts, employing experimental and mixed-methods approaches. He holds a Ph.D. from the European University Institute (2016), an M.Sc. from Oxford, and a B.A. from Dresden. Prior roles include postdoctoral positions at WZB and Bocconi University.
