Max Duboff is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Bowdoin College. Specializing in ancient Greek and Roman ethics with a focus on Epicureanism, his work explores the philosophical dimensions of pleasure and its implications. He also engages with applied ethics, feminist philosophy, and philosophy of religion.

His research connects classical philosophy to contemporary ethical debates, particularly in reproductive and medical ethics. Duboff co-hosts the Bruchim Podcast, examining the ethics and experiences of circumcision from a Jewish perspective.
