Max Brück

Max Brück (*1991) is an artistic staff member at the Department of Experimental Space Concepts, Offenbach University of Art and Design, since 2023. His work focuses on collective memory and spatial interventions in urban and rural contexts, often addressing German and European history through found industrial and everyday objects.

• Education: Studied fine arts at HfG Offenbach and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, supported by scholarships from the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes.

Research Interests: Centered on site-specific art projects that reimagine forgotten spaces, such as the abandoned Autobahn section in Offenbach (Niemandsland) and participatory installations like INTERKONTINENTALEN GÄRTEN, which integrates plants from residents' homelands.

Scientific Awards: Notable accolades include the Arbeitsstipendium from Stiftung Kunstfonds Bonn, a travel grant from Hessischen Kultur Stiftung for Polish coal industry research, and a residency from Crespo Foundation in Ireland.

Teaching & Projects: Led seminars at Justus Liebig University Giessen (2022) and co-develops the Museum of Urban Culture, creating dialogues about multi-layered identities through public installations and collaborative practices.
