Professor Mavluda Sattorova holds the position of Professor of International Economic Law (Trade and Investment) at the University of Liverpool's School of Law and Social Justice, part of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. She specializes in international investment law, investor-state arbitration, and transnational corporate governance. Her work bridges legal scholarship with policy advocacy, collaborating with UNCTAD, WHO, and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. Key roles include Director for Research at the International Law Association British Branch (2022–present) and convenor of AsianSIL's International Investment Law Interest Group.
